whoooo! I would love that!

Squillaci vers Arsenal !

sry only found a french-link

They say that Squillaci isn't playing today against Braga in the CL-Quali because wenger wants him for the CL.

Extremely rough translation

To confront Sporting Braga, on Wednesday, during the dam to go of the Champions League, FC Séville comes with Luis Fabiano, but without Sebastian Squillaci (Photograph Press-sports). According to Channel More, this absence is perfectly wanted in fact by Andalous since international French would be bound for Armory! The English playing club the Champions League, Sévillans probably did not want to put the transfer in danger by lining up their 29-year-old defender.

Or this one, it's slightly better

To deal with Sporting Braga on Wednesday, when the dam range from the Champions League, FC Sevilla Luis Fabiano with this, but Sebastien Squillaci (Photo Press-Sports). According to Canal Plus, its absence is actually fully intended by the Andalusians as the French international would be leaving for Arsenal! The English club playing in the Champions League, Sevilla and probably do not want to jeopardize the transfer aligning their defender 29 years.

My translation.

Because Squillaci is coming to Arsenal and Wenger wants him for the CL his absence for Sevilla tonight is fully justified as they don't want to endanger the deal.

Was shown this on another forum when posting about Squillaci.

Arsenal are in talks with Sevilla over defender Sébastien Squillaci, according to respected French news outlet Canal+. If the transfer goes through, defender Håvard Nordtveit will be made available for loan.
Squillaci was left out of the Sevilla squad for tonight’s Champions League clash with Sporting Braga amid firm reports in France that Arsenal are planning to snap up the experienced Frenchman. Arsène Wenger had told Nordtveit earlier in the summer he wouldn’t be part of the first-team, but with defensive recruitment’s failing to come to fruition, he had allowed the 19-year-old to stay with the First-team. However, if the Gunners can wrap up a deal for Squillaci, Wenger will listen to loan offers for the prospect.

He's 30. I suppose it's better him than Nordshite.
