Apparently it's unlucky if you get injured easily.

Well hopefully the curse is over because he played an injury free WC w/ Netherlands and that's USUALLY how he gets injured. (Except when Adebarndoor pounded his head).

Lol. I've only been on this forum a few months and I've had this debate at least four times.

It's not the definition of "injury" and "prone", but more the label of "injury prone" that's given to players. The likes of Michael Owen fully deserve the label as they have constant recurrences of the same injury, usually pulled hamstring or groin strains, or some kind of genetic weakness (like Theo's shoulder issues). But RVP's injuries are not related: thigh strain, broken foot, twisted knee, pulled achilles, and then the expected niggling injuries between the long term injuries, simply from being out for too long.

Ramsey will return from his broken leg and probably be in and out of the team for months due to the little niggling injuries, and God help me, if people start goin' on about how "injury prone" he's become, I'll f**king cyber rape them!!! ... except Mr Garrison, because he'd enjoy it :hiding:

You're not only injury prone if it's the same injury!!

Being prone to injury is being prone to ANY injury.

Yea, and that's been noted, well done for that IMP.

RVP is not prone to broken feet because he's only broken his foot once.
He's not prone to twisted knees because he's only twisted his knee once.
He's not prone to dodgey ankle ligaments because he's only had it hacked off the back of his foot once.

The thing that's given Rob the label of 'Injury Prone' with some people is because three 'semi-serious' injuries occured in succession. Those aren't things that have any grounds for being considered 'injury prone' those are incidents/accidents which have occured.

If you're going to get technical, RvP would be accident prone which is something different, entirely.

You are the only people I've ever met that for whatever deluded reason think it has to be the SAME injury to be considered injury prone.

http://www.mensfitness.com/sports_and_r ... hletes/192

Read that article of the top injury prone players and tell me how many of them made the list for various different injuries. I bet it is all of them.

In 4 years I've broken my foot, fractured my elbow busted my head open and cracked three fingers.

Does not make me injury prone, in the slightest.

Back on topic please. If you feel the need (god I hope not), then start a debate in the proper section about this.
