^^^ I'd go along with that.

Really hoping France can get past Spain though.

I think Spain are all possession and negligible end product ATM. Yes they scored 4 goals against Ireland and Yes France lost to Sweden but i feel this game will be close with France nicking it. Torres despite his goals is not a patch on Villa in current form [mind you i rate Torres but he looks a bit ungainly atm despite his goals]. Ribery, Nasri, Ben Arfa and Benzema can be handful for any team to contain. Benzema hasn't been in the greatest of form but you can count on him to come up with the goods during the crunch time.

I think England loves to play against teams which come at them and Italy most certainly won't do that. IMO Italy will nick it 1-0.

Germans will win against Greece at-least by 2 goals cos Greece will need to come out and attack if they go down and the mighty Germans are too good to miss out on the openings at the back.

I think Ronaldo's timely return to form is a big boost for Portugal. They are playing well ATM with Nani and Ronaldo being the key to their fortunes. They will win by 2 goals imo.

The France - Spain and England - Italy fixtures are 'proper' quarter-final match ups IMO. The Czech Rep - Portugal and Germany - Greece games have more of a world cup second round look about them.

Nevertheless, the likely semi finalists of Germany, Spain, Italy and Portugal have a real heavy-weight pedigree.

Some tasty matches to come.

Our side of the draw is much harder since Holland decided not to turn up. Portugal come second in the group and get the Czech's, bet they can't believe their luck

Portugal, Germany, Spain and England are the teams going to the semis. If i am wrong with any of them predictions it is most likely to be Italy to beat England.
I want Carl Jenkinson back in a Arsenal shirt next season.

Super goal by Ronaldo. As i had said earlier you can never rule ''Ronaldo factor'' out of the equation. Now two matches in succession he has performed brilliantly.

Czech were great in the first half but were waiting to lose in the second. I think they did themselves proud this tournament though considering they were considered by many a faded nation.

They were always second best throughout the game RG . I feel Rosicky's injury cost them big time imo.
