Knowing what Lahm is capable of i've been disappointed with him in the euros.

Balotelli is getting the golden boot. He'd pretty much already have it if he didn't mess up in the first game after doing the hard work to get in that position.

I've not been that impressed with Fabregas. He's not done bad but I don't think he's stodd out. Mostly cause he's been playing as a striker and you see him in some positions trying to be that man and he just can't do it (not his fault ).

Buffon – still arguably the best keeper in the world

G Johnson – enhanced his rep. May not have even started had Walker been fit

Pepe – now here’s a “beast”, but I was even more impressed how he controlled that legendary aggression

Balzaretti – could’ve been Bonucci , Lescott, Terry or even Sergi Ramos for me. A real pick ‘em for me

Coentrao – Over Alba…Just! Better defensively in my opinion as well as very accomplished going forward

Pirlo – needs no explanation

Moutinho – I’m actually surprised he’s not appeared in anyone’s line up yet. He’s an advanced playmaker by trade but showed diligence helping the defence. Great eye for a defence splitting pass. He’d be Pirlo’s legs

Ozil – Pure silk. Not his best tournament but still a class act

Iniesta – the best attacking midfielder or number 10 in the world in my opinion. A bad game for him is a good game for anyone else.

Ronaldo – love or loathe him, he was the most dangerous forward in the competition. Proves there actually is an ‘I’ in team

Balotelli – enfant terrible but the cutting edge of the Azzuri attack. When he’s on his game not many in this tournament can live with him.

Honourable mentions:
Casillas – toss up between him and Buffon
Dzagoev – should’ve gone further in the comp but let down by his teammates. Showed some real potential
Mandzukic – a menace in and around the goal
Lahm – played well in most games
Rui Patricio – underrated keeper
Gerrard – led the team very well in every manner. England’s best player
Yarmolenko – big strong direct winger. Good future ahead of him on this showing
Ibrahimovic – dispelled the myth he doesn’t perform on the big stage

Could have easily had Gza's team, honourable mentions agree with as well.

Honourable mention to Mordic too.

He was class for Croatia in everygame! Unlucky that they didn't go further, but in the games he did play he was running a mock.

We must've been watching different games then Popey. From what I saw he was integral to their progress and much of the good Ronaldo did was from Moutinho's play.

I think Moutinho has got better as the tournament has gone on, wasn't great at the start but has got better each game and was great against Spain.
