 f**k sake your lot are dropping like flys!

I think it'll be a big ask for Terry to play all those games in a short period of time, especially as they'll more than likley be full games too.

So Roy seriously expects me to believe that Martin Kelly is a better defender than Rio Ferdinand? "Footballing reasons" my arse...

I didn't want Ferdinand anywhere near the squad initially but in light of all the injuries he was surely the only viable option left. I mean seriously! I'm glad that as a nation centre half is the one position we are always well stocked in, so he probably won't even get on the bench if we have no more injuries.

Look at all the Liverpool players in the squad

Martin Kelly
Glen Johnson
Gerrard
Henderson
Carroll
Downing

And they are all absolutely pony except Gerrard, and he's a couple years past his best anyway

We're one injury away from seeing the return of Carragher!

Great tactic from Woy... doing his best to lower expectations. The man's clearly a missunderstood genius!

For those of you saying it should have been a red and Mertens should be suspended and that you hope he gets a serious injury, you are seriously overreacting.
It was a push, nothing more. You punish the action, not the result.

And why not wish a serious injury and a lengthy ban on Gerrard? His tackle on Holgi against Norway was far far worse than what Mertens did.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, our manager really has no clue.

I still say it would be typical England for the worst squad I can ever remember went and won the competition.

Not even a regular for his Club. Joke.
I want Carl Jenkinson back in a Arsenal shirt next season.

I think that there's politics surrounding the continued exclusion of Rio. How can Martin Kelly be chosen ahead of Ferdinand when Rio played 38 games last season and several times played twice in 3 games.
People here are talking about Carra..? Are you lot on crack!?!
The real issue is the FA have lied saying Rio couldn't handle the intensity of the euros when really its about them standing behind their chosen man JT.
Ferdinand would've been professional enough to put aside his grievances and do a job for England.

He wasn't on the stand-by list kelly was.

That is why kelly is in ahead of him.

Gutted for Cahill too, him and JT were looking a good combo.

Kelly will do well, good stats in tackles and a great up and coming player.
