Just saw the replay, hadn't noticed Silvas pass the first time. It was sublime.

Yeah. Even if they thought he hadn't done enough, after that you would think he would get another 5 mins at least. I really think it was a bad move.

Italy starting to look a bit ragged and Spain doing what Spain does. If I had to pick a winner now I'd say the Spanish are looking more likely.

Leno
(Martinez/Macey)

Xhaka(c)
(Luiz?/Chambers)
Guendouzi --- Ceballos
(Torreira/Elneny) --- (Ozil/Willock)
Pepe -------------------- Auba
(ESR/Mkhi) -------------------- (Nelson/Saka)

My thoughts on that with Torres are that he was forced to go wide from goal as there was too many bodies coming in on his inside. From there Buffon did well although I think he just stuck his foot out and hoped he took the ball lol.

Yeah I thought Buffon did well. Torres might have hit it early but he had just come one.

Thinking about this game it's better for Spain to win for Ireland.

Spain win all 3. Ireland win tonight and sneak a draw against Italy.

Thats what most at home have been thinking. Very unlikely we get a result off Spain (especially now they are showing signs of the old Spain) think we can get a result off the Italians though. Croatia is the unknown quantity in this group.
