So much drama surrounds Torres, always the center of attention!

Silva and Cesc are different types of players though, so I'd say overall it would be a toss up between them two, I agree with the first two though.

I know, infact thats the point. Xavi specalist playmaker, Silva and Iniesta specialist attacking mids.

Cesc is versatile, it works against him! If he focused more on either the attacking mid aspect or deep playmaker he'd be ahead of them.

He just scored.

Good goal on the near-angle as well.

Nice one Cesc!

Did want the Paddy's to win though, always nice to see the underdogs triumph!

Unlucky Ireland, just not good enough at this level. Was expecting atleast some organisation in defence and be hard to break down but they didn't even show that. :/

Ireland forgot how to defend. Shay Given forgot how to keep goal.

Fabregas is a specialist playmaker. Xavi is a specialist Denilson

I think Cesc is better than both Xavi and Iniesta overall but they both excel massively in one or two areas, especially Iniesta. Silva better than Cesc? Behave.

They should just drop that pathetic sack of shit Busqunt

Oh well, outplayed and outclassed by on their day the worlds best team. Spain were magnificent and we weren't, simple as that. I think the stick against Given is a bit harsh though, he made some fabulous saves and some of the goals he had no chance.

Here's hoping we can get a result against the Italians and at least stop them going through.

Well if Given had been more against the Stick, he may have saved a couple...

The Silva goal was in no way his fault. There was 3 bodies in his way and he couldn't have seen it until the last second.
