Rooney's ban 'reduced' to 2 games.

Qualification and finally the tournament itself in Poland and Ukraine.

All talk about it in here including live match chat.

Typical "GHEL"

Apparently the guy he fouled wrote a letter to Platini claiming he himself believed the punishment was "harsh" on Shrek

To add. The 1 match ban that was removed "Can and WILL be applied" to ANY Subsequent 'banning' he may be subject to, in any match played under UEFA Rules [IE: Europa League / UCL in coming years] in the next 2-3yrs.

So it's a suspended 1 match ban.

Shame he didn't get a 3 game ban for kicking that Newcastle player on the deck, he would have done if he played for anyone else.

What an absolute joke.

Once again another England player gets away with murder. He booted a player in an act of rage and somehow after an appeal he gets his ban reduced?!
I honestly believe that if Rooney hedbutted the ref and pissed in his mouth he would only get a 2 match ban and a 10k fine.

Last season he fouled Clichy and Fletcher fouled the Ref - neither were sent off, just so corrupt.

It's right, I don't like the guy but 3 games is half the tournament, missing half a tournament for a tap is pathetic.

But it isn't the first time he has been so rash / stupid / thuggish; when will he clean up his act on and off the pitch. He's a roll model for young lads. So should be made an example of.

The Prem managers have been just a tad upset about the way the FA have gone all in to appeal spud heads ban, but when they go in front of the FA committee its basically "stfu and get out, the ban is upheld".

Double standards.

Perfectly understandable... would the FA do that for every Prem player??? Nah!

He'll keep getting away with shit. He needs to be put on the naughty step, but instead there are just naughty step empty threats.

... he's just such a k***.
