Jack did well imo without a proper holding mid, wouldnt mind seeing him next to Parker next time, he didnt mind holding and defending.

It was Lampard that kid kept leaving, not Wilshere, he was our best player.

Scott Parker. One of the most underrated mids in the EPL in living memory (for me at least). Ive always loved the way he plays and i dont think he's ever been given the credit he's deserved all these years.

We should have bought him off Charlton/Chelsea back in the day. Or after Vieira left..

Sky & ITV chatting shit what a surprise. They are operating under the illusion that Jack was the designated defensive mid, even though it became apparent after 20 seconds that both he and Lampard were sharing responsibilities

This is the problem. They'll refer back to Fabio being quoted as saying he see's Jack playing the DM role and go to town on him, even though not much was said about yet another average Frank performance in the middle of the park. Honestly, has he EVER had a stand out game in the three lions shirt?

NO. What happens? He gets the captaincy.

On the flip side, theres no one else that is yet to shame themselves that they could give it to:

Wayne Rooney = Grab a granny
Steven Gerrard = Peado
Rio Ferdinand = drug test dodger
John Terry = John Terry
Ashley Cole = Mobile phone fetishist

and they recon the English are repressed!

Should see the sun ratings, everyone got a 5 or 6 except Bent who got an 8 and Parker/Young who got 7's.

I think Capello is an idiot.

He picked Wilshere as a DM. Comparing him to makelele. Honestly what the f**k is wrong with this guy?

Wilshere is a creative attacking midfielder. He has always been like that. England need someone like that who can be a link between the midfield and the strikers. Who can open up defenses. England have not had a player like that for donkey years and now that they have one, they are trying to use him as a DM.
