All four defenders ball watching, good finish from Young though. How much did he cost again?

Exactly. Wenger missed a big trick there :disgust:

Nothing but frustration to see us spend about the same amount on a 17 year old.

Give him a chance, he hasn't even played for us yet.

Well, it was no white knuckle ride, no stroll in the park, and not really an awful lot that wouldn't stop me falling asleep.

1-0, and that about sums it up. *Yawn*

Why can't the home teams play like their respective club sides, Brazil, Spain et al manage it, England did it back in the 70's and 80's when they spanked teams before f***ing it all up at the tournament.

Flip to that, Wales have a couple of REALLY good players to start building around, and give that 2 years (maybe too soon) or 4 years for the next Euros, they're going to be strong.

O/T to a degree, but there was nothing about Scotland the other night that impressed really, their league is too dominated by 2 teams with a glut of foreigners, whatever happened to the days where a successful English side has a Scottish player?

Anyhow, cigarette, grab another beer, and hope the fat Shrek looking prick gets abducted by an alien after 89 minutes, never to return to disgrace the Nation again.

Trust me, ill be giving him plenty of chances. Truth is, I wont be expecting him to set the world alight, no one should, but while he is a good acquisition and one for the future, we really needed Young's quality and experience in the prem.

Ox will come good, but this will probably be in years rather than weeks.

We should have bought Young as well.

Yep, and QFT.

Typical Wenger though, waited and waited, lost the decent deals, and that's why we are where we are.

Anyhow, back OT....

Don't think any of the 10 we pulled off this year (8 not including the 'technicals' of Campbell/Ryo) were 'not decent deals' myself.

I expect we went in for him and he chose Manure. Unsurprisingly.

I would in his situation.
