Chamakh set to rebuff PSG Advances.

Chamakh set to rebuff PSG Advances.

Postby TRA Dial Square » Fri Jul 08, 2011 2:51 pm

Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh is wanted by PSG - but the Morocco international will snub any offer from the Ligue 1 side.

According to reports in France, PSG, who have been bought by wealthy Qatar-based investors, have identified Chamakh as a possible summer target.

The 27-year-old had a mixed first season in England, failing to score a Premier League goal after November, leaving question marks hanging over his future at the Emirates.

Chamakh has been linked with a move back to France, but has insisted he would only return to Bordeaux, who he left to join Arsenal last summer.

And it has now been reported Chamakh is ready to snub any offer from PSG if they firm up their interest with a bid.

Chamakh was quality for us in those first 3 months. He's a good headerer of the ball, can play our tippy tappy crap, but is quite muscular and has got a good pair of shooting boots. 3 goals in 6 games with an assist in Europe and overall 11 goals in 44 games with 8 assists, that's not bad ...

The only proven winner in red and white at this club? Arsene Wenger. Sack the board.

There's a rumour going around that Bordeaux want to loan Chamakh back for a season and if that happened we'd force Bendy to stay.

I stress that it's a very unsubstantiated rumour at this point. Could be total codsbollock.

Sucking up wages in my opinion, gave him the time to recover from last campaign but he has looked even worse this season.
