:confused2:
Isn't that more-or-less the formation we play? And doesn't he usually start centrally?

4-2-3-1 is absolutely stupid and not the same.

Still confusing, play him at the lone striker in a 433 but not as the lone striker in a 4231?

Hope this clarify's it: playing him here is better in my opinion
LW CF RW

instead of here:
CAM CF CAM
ST

Got ya but that its more of the personal chosen imo as Nasri isnt fast enough to play RW but Theo is. Also means the LW and RW not coming back and defending hwich puts pressure on the mid and def.

Exactly, that's why I advocate the following:
Nasri Song Cesc
Walcott Chamakh Arshavin

Trust me, it's Diaby free, you'll like it!

Imo yes to be a proper winger. He is not a proper winger and we know it, hardly touched Evra against Man Utd.

That wasn't due to speed...

There are not many players in any position faster than Nasri, he is lightning quick.

Marouane Chamakh vows to be Arsenal's Wayne Rooney or Didier Drogba

Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh is determined to become a legend at the Emirates Stadium.

Chamakh has scored 10 goals for the Gunners since arriving from Bordeaux in the summer but he insists his best is yet to come.

The 26-year-old wants to become as important for the north Londoners as Wayne Rooney to Manchester United and Didier Drogba at Chelsea.

He said: 'I know I have the ability and through hard work I can improve my game. I think I haven't reached their level yet but I will get there one day. This will happen if I keep focused and if I carry on working hard.

'I don't feel inferior to them but they've worked really hard to get where they are.'

The Morocco international signed a four-year deal after joining on a free transfer and has settled in north London with the help of team-mates Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas.

'We have got on really well together since the start of pre-season,' Chamakh said of Nasri.

'He has been like a brother to me. He took care of me, really helped me, took me out and invited me to his house to watch World Cup matches.

'I love to play with Fabregas. He is a fantastic kid. I didn't really know him before I arrived here. In the few matches we have played together, I have found a player with fantastic talent, great vision and a very rare quality of passing.

'Yohann Gourcuff (at Bordeaux) was superb, but when I see that I play with Nasri, Fabregas, (Abou) Diaby or the little (Jack) Wilshere, an adorable kid, I can say that I am very lucky.'

Fighting talk, love it!

He must watch the French national team alot, with Diaby taking over Gourcuff in the engine room because he couldn't put Diaby in that list of pass-masters at Arsenal... one day maybe :hiding:

I don't know what it is about Chamack, but i just can't get excited about him. Don't think he'll be at Arsenal long either. I do think he's done a decent enough job for us upfront in his first season for us.

Imo slating chamahk is a bit unfair. He works hard and scores goals. We can all dream on about that we want RVP in our starting line up or whatever, but i give him 5 matches and he will get injured. We can also say, that RVP also would of scored the goals that Chamahk did, which could be true(exept the headers probably) but the fact is that he DIDNT. And chamakh did, we should look at the things that are getting done more and stop the dreaming abit about Rvp.

chamahk scored 10 goals this season, 64% of the people who voted thought that chamakh would get 16 or less goals this season. He already scored 10 and he will probably get over the 16 this season. Why slate him? This is only his 1st season.
Rest in Peace SE13 :(

Nobody has slated him, at least not badly.

He is a very frustrating striker, he doesn't look to score goals he always looks to lay it off to somebody else, he is too afraid to shoot, plays far too deep and he doesn't use his pace well.

10 goals is impressive but with the amount of chances he has had, he should have scored more IMO.

Until i see him score a goal like Bendtner did against Man City or Newcastle, the jury will still be out for me, i don't believe he can score a goal like that, now prove me wrong...
