It's quite horrible, and if you want to see it look somewhere aside from here.

Let's just say that on seeing it, I was sick........

True Gigi, Shawcross seemed quite remorseful. He seemed to be in bits (no pun) as he was walking off.

Anyhoo, great courage to go on and win. Definitely learned a lesson from the Brummie game. Cesc's gesture after he scored the pen and the team celebrations said it all.

I was seriously impressed with the way he finished the game and led the team to victory after witnessing such a horrific injury AGAIN. He showed real composure to step up and score the penalty as well.
Also his post-match interview was extremely calm under the circumstances. He looked more upset after the Porto result.
All signs that he's becoming a very solid captain.

he still remains quite petulent at times. Needs to get that out of his game. But I agree, he's maturing into a good captian.

Today we showed heart, but there has been something missing from our squad. We haven't bounced back after defeats, heads dropped during games when things weren't going our way. Today was different and could be the catalist for something. Our players played with complacency in some games as if there was always the next game or next season, perhaps the realisation of how quickly that can be taken away might have spurred them on in that game and hopefully for the remainder of the season.

 Well said Inchy.
I was worried that, after the incident, we were going to go through that stage like we did after the Eduardo one. But cesc and the rest went for it and done it for Ramsey and i just feel that something is going to happen now.

Demus does have some egg to wipe off at the moment.

I don't think it is a lack of heart. We often play with a "we will hit the highest gears when we really need to" attitude, they just need to realise that they need to hit it more often than they think.

That's true, there was that incident between him and Pulis but after what happened to Ramsey I'm going to let him off that one.

Yh he was telling Pulis to keep quiet cos he was complaining about Cesc making a hard challenge, when his team had been doing it all the game

All the talk about spirit, mental strength, resilience etc...all these came to the fore albeit at a price.
When Campbell ran up to the ref after the foul was given, i thought he was gonna grab the ref and manhandle him.
The emotions displayed when your team-mate lies broken on the pitch, i had goosebumps all over.
I for one am glad we signed Campbell.
Couldn't have envisaged what would have happened to Gallas again if he was on the pitch this time as well.

Let's all pray for Ramsey...
In Arsene We Trust!!
