Only Fabregas was anywhere near the level we expect from him. Every other player on our team was not good. Great, we can pass the ball around and keep it, then play it out f***ing wide and cross it to nobody, when are we going to realise nobody in our team can cross, and when on the off chance it's actually a decent ball, we're not going to score anyway? Nasri was poor, Arshavin really should have made it 1-1, Almunia was up to his usual antics when it came to kicking the ball, and as usual it's Drogba who beats us. Why can't we stop him?

Fabregas made it clear man, he said Drogba is the best striker in the world a few months back.

Interesting analysis by Andy Gray right now. He blames Arshavin for the first goal.

Clichy drifted off the back post, he should cop some of the blame.

Not against Liverpool and Man United, they know how to deal with him but we still haven't caught up.

He does but what Gray is saying is that Chelcunts have a player unmarked in the box, I think he said it was Belletti and Arshavin can't be bothered to pick him up which means that Clichy shouts at Cesc to go pick him up and then runs into Cesc's position to cover him which is what leaves the gap at the far post.
Basically they have to rearrange all their markers at the last minute because Arshavin doesn't want to pick anyone up.

Regardless of how good Drogba is of course a great striker is going to be devastating when you don't mark him. It's been the same story all season just it's more apparent against the top teams: we need to wise up defensively and quick.

Oh, and we need a striker - wait, do I hear an echo?

I can't agree with this I must admit. The 'better' team doesn't defend how we did...there's two sides to a game not just attack (not that we did well there either but w/e).

This is why Wenger should have treated the F.A. cup better

So he should've played our best eleven in the FA Cup just to make 200% sure that they were tired for the next Prem game which was 3 days later against Aston Villa away?

Man Utd dont feel the need to rest players in the domestic cups, nor do Chelsea.

Wenger is too stubborn when it comes to tactics. Why does he refuse to adapt his formation against top 4 teams
