Arsenal are a "momentum" team and Wenger made a mistake in throwing the FA Cup, in favour of maintaining a strong league challenge. Since then, what's happened? One point out of six. He never learns from his mistakes. He did the same thing with the FA Cup game against Man Utd in 2004 and almost cost us the lot. Then in 2008 when he didn't play our strongest team for the home league game with Liverpool and we ended up dropping points and not even going through against 'Pool in the ECL. Of course last season he picked a joke of a team to play Chelsea in the FA Cup to save our legs for the ECL game with Man Utd. We all know what happened then. I don't think Man Utd were far better than us. We got into good positions as often as they did. Defensively, Brown especially, they didn't look that good. But again we were so ineffectual and they were clinical. Yet again Wenger has talked the team up and they've let him down. Almunia nearly gifted a Nani a goal with that "clearance". He is not a quality goalkeeper and it's time he left. Sagna can't cross the ball for crap. Clichy was a shambles. I hope that's just because he's still feeling his way back after injury. Denilson was dreadful. Collectively Nasri/Arshavin/Rosicky was such an ineffectual triumvirate that Van Der Sar barely had a save to make. Wenger wants to win the title and the ECL but he has to face up to the fact that his players simply don't come up to the mark, especially in big games.
There's David O'Leary and big Willie Young, sending Rixy and Stapleton off on a run
