I often wonder what would have happened if Graham was still in charge. His team were the ones I grew up watching, just as TMG has grown up watching Wenger's team.

He was a clever man and as good as Wenger in the Transfer market, although it was a very different market at the time. He spent money when he needed to (Seaman) but other signings, Winterburn Adams Keown Dixon were hugely important to Wenger and saved him millions later on.

Stoke have drawn City away, so even if we qualified we would have probably got knocked out at a later stage, which just means more games.

A blessing in disguise IMO.

Arsenal normally go on a long unbeaten run after a defeat, so lets do it!

I cannot bring myself to watch the game yet, someone only went & text me, so wasnt too amused as i had the match waiting for me on Sky+
Heard we were shit though.
Judging by the starting XI, Wenger had one eye on upcoming fixtures, which will probably be one of our toughest tests yet, still no excuses, sounds like Stoke wanted it more.

Darren reckoned Eastmond was probably one of our best players today?

All i can say is im absolutely gutted we're out. Love the FA Cup. :crybaby:

Campbell was probably our best player, Eastmond was ok.

campbell was good but ran out of energy and tweety prob would of wanted to come off after his tumble but couldnt. the striker role didnt suit jet, dropped far too deep.

stoke drew man city away so another tough game we dont really need, the run we've got coming up is more important imo

Save yourself the bother, I'll summarise and send all our best moments down on the back of a stamp.

well thats shit, made sure i didnt hear the score and watched "as live" cos recorded it, i feel so gutted more because we just didnt ever challenge than anything.
aaagh feel so angry, im not gonna say much more beacause it will just be a rant at the moment.
Stoke did what they do well, didnt give us any time on the ball and hacked at our players, their style of play is an embarrasment.

graham was also the era i grew up with but he had run his course and has been left behind by the premiership and money involved.

wenger's team selection was a joke, it was at west ham and we scraped it there. it annoys me how little he now seems to care about the fa cup, its still a major competition he should be respecting and playing the strongest team possible in an attempt to win it.
he's defended his selection saying he had little choice due to injuries, but there were players resting on our bench today that should have started.

we were abysmal today, i've given up on walcott, i don't think he'll ever make it, and as talented as vela is he's still yet to show consistent glimpses that he will make the grade. he's had a few appearances this season and been pretty annonymous in most. denilson is just terrible.
sol played well enough though which is promising for the run in.
