Eduardo was a shadow of his former self today

Rosicky, Nasri and Arshavin also put in a lathargic display

I thought Traore played decent and his pace and crosses were dangerous

in the end it was a weak goal off a corner.. go figure :BangHead:

lol quality statement, makes him sound like an over the hill 34 year old :rofll:

lets have it right, we're going to drop points along the line, everyone does, so this loss doesnt mean we're out of the race.
however what it does show is our current inability to battle and win on the road and our f***ing ABYSMAL defending at set pieces. it is utterly diabolical.

and gallas needs to stop thinking he's a f***ing attacker and floating off up the pitch, he's been doing it all season and is a major reason as to why we're shaky at the back, he keeps trying to take extra touches and even take attackers on, get back to holding position and keeping it simple and steady. :BangHead:

Sunderland are a tough team to beat, can get into the Champions League if we're not careful.

I didn't think we ever really got going yesterday.
The only time we showed a bit of attacking impetus was when Vermaelan or Gallas burst forward.

Oh well, we can't play like world beaters every week.

Still gutted about our defeat yesterday, but cheered myself up by watching us beat the yids 3-0 last month. Maybe a few of you's should do the same. ;)

Still its a marathon not a race & those above us will still drop points along the way.

Song was awesome yesterday but couldn't beat them on his own.
I expected better from Eduardo.
Starting Nasri up front and Ramsey in midfield was an odd decision but was probably affected by the state that players were in when they returned from international games.

Our biggest problem was that we never got our passing game going.
Too many misplaced passes and players getting caught in possession.
Stating the obvious but we clearly missed RVP.
Meh, we'll bounce back.

Thing is, with Cesc, Rosicky, Nasri and Ramsey all on the field, a good passing game is the very least you expect.
