Like us, scouse tend to play their youngsters, i know Aquilani played in the reserves midweek for them, so wonder if he will play against us wednesday?

Looks a decent prospect shame its in the wrong colour red shirt.

If Aqualani plays I expect Nasri too.

Id fear Rafa starting Torres as he might see it as an opportunity to beat a rival and give them a better chance of winning silverware. I hope he doesnt

Looking forward to seeing Nasri, Vela and Wilshere play. I think if the Scouse DO play their youngsters we should do them. But I wouldn't be at all surprised if 3 or 4 of their first team play.

Yeah I agree, Theo is out so it's about time Bendy was played up front in his proper position again, instead of all this pissing about on the left wing.

A Bendy/Vela or Bendy/Eduardo combo would be great. It'll probably end up as Watt & Sunu though....

Wenger won't play Bendy in the Carls Cup... but then again it is a game against Pool... hmmm... maybe... would be nice to see the Nic/Carlos combo again.

He's coming back from a lay-off so I think he'll use this game to get him back up to speed again. Hopefully Bendtner - Eduardo attack!

Liverpool played their reserves, BUT had Torres, Gerrard et all on the bench

Rafa has said Aquilani will play against us in the CC, Torres is injured, he played against Manure with a groin injury, I expect him to be rested but on the bench just in case.

Wenger has said Nasri will feature for us, Fabianski as well to give him game time, Sendy and Tweety will prob be in defence.

And I would love to see Bendy and Vela upfront along with Watt.

Barazite is out for the rest of the year after a shoulder op

Nooo... Please no more Wattage. That guy needs to hit the gym for 6-8 months... He was so easily dropping to the ground as soon as the wind blew and was highly frustrating until after he scored.

We can have this guy on the bench in case we get in trouble to save the day:

Watt deffo needs to bulk up, he got bullied against WBA, but he is doing well in the reserves and has good pace, so AW will reward him with a start.

Prob Vela, Sunu & Watt in the forward 3

Rafa is fearing for his job atm, so it wouldnt suprise me if he fielded a full strength squad despite their win against the mancs yesterday.

Still i reckon our kids can do them. ;P
