They had originally said he was going to miss the whole season, it will take him a while to get back to match fitness tho

we should have certainly signed a centre back, we were weak before, even worse now with our first choice back up out for pretty much the whole season.

anyway, hope we pull their pants down and send them on the road to relegation hammers SCUM.

Senderos is still here.. I think thats why wenger didn't sign a CB.. We r a bit short on the bench.. But should have enough to beat the Shammers..

Think they said it best on the ArseCast: Keep Carlton Cole quiet and we should win.

Should probably get Vermaelen to man mark him

As for Djourou damn shame 4woould have been a big progress season for him......AW needs to blow the cobwebs off the cheque book for a.n.other CB in January.......

I hope i dont need to remind people not to take West Ham for granted London Derby's are never as simple as we would like to think...........

Why have people only become aware of Djourou's injury? He was injured at the start of the season! As for man marking Cole?? Come on if we can't contain Cole then we shouldn't think we have any chance of winning the league. You also don't get a centre half to man mark a player thats just stupid

We contained Rooney easy enough, Cole should be no problem

Different players entiely

They will just punt it up to him and he'll do any of our players in the air

We play with a high defensive line, so not much use to him winning headers in the centre of the pitch...
