f***ing joke.

But who really wants to see extended coverage of Diaby stumbling around the midfield?
There's David O'Leary and big Willie Young, sending Rixy and Stapleton off on a run

Danny Murphy might since he absolutely owned Diaby today.

I could own Diaby with one leg wrapped around my neck.

I love how Rosicky always has that big stupid grin on his face when he's coming on. Looked like he was just finishing his dinner too - so that's why he was on the bench

More relieving is that he's picking up minutes every game with no injuries alongside them.

He's ability to pass has been missed but an important factor often overlooked about him is his keenness to put his foot in - he's never been scared of a tackle and that work rate has been missed in his absence.

He is and I hope all those injury worries are long gone. He's been badly missed and I think that work rate was taken for granted somewhat whilst he had been away as everyone wanted to concentrate on his injuries. Sure, they were frustrating but what I love about this guy is his all round package - obviously a fantastic footballer in the Wenger mould but also a team player and we haven't had enough of those in the past few years.

When Rosicky is on the pitch he gives all, he attacks and defends well

And when he's fully fit; he won't be offered a new contract and will leave because Arsene doesn't want to "kill" Diaby.

Or Denilson, or Eboue....

Nah, seriously, I think if he proves his fitness this season, he'll be offered a contract.

But the twist? Well, if we've not won anything come seasons end, I can see him limping off somewhere else, given his age and 'status' in the world game (ok, ok...pre-injury). Then again, I thought the same about Gallas a season or two ago...

Exactly. People less enlightened than us assume that just because he is a master going forward, he must not defend. I show them this

He's the pefect third cog in our midfield

But....

He's returned whilst Cesc might've gone missing...

Don't worry about Cesc. He'll get going eventually and still plays at least a couple killer passes each game even when he's playing terribly, ala today

Well i hope so. If we win bugger all again, then I think we should realise that we'll lose yet another captain.
