Only managed to catch the foirst half live, then had to watch the rest on MOTD later on at night.

But from what I saw we played brilliant, sure Wigan were absolute shite but we still had to break them down which is never an easy job against any EPL team.

Vermealen's goal was a thing of beauty,a strike RVP would have been proud of,and Song was excellent. His run was amazing and should have merited a goal, unlucky.

Manone still didnt impress me,especially when he failed to parry that shot away properly and it almost cost us,if they were offside.

4-0.. f**k you Wigan :D

We might have won by a big score but to be honest; I'm not that happy with the performance.

Why? Wigan didn't even turn up and RVP could've had a double hattrick if he actually knew how to hit a barn door. Does anyone realise that RVP's shots to goals ratio is worse than Adebayors ever was? 6 games being the striker up front and he's scored 1 goal from 30 odd chances.

We need a striker that will put the chances away or we risk being punished by better teams. Wigan were shit and couldn't punish us but we should've been 4 or 5 up by half time.

Missing chances is exactly why we were hammered 4-1 by Chavs last season and lost to Manure and Man City.

True, but I really dont think its RVP's fault becuase he's being played in a position where he's the main striker and relied upon for goals when really he's not that type of player.
He's more of a second striker imo,Bendtner should swap positions with him becuase hes wasted out there when hes putting in crosses and no one is there to win the headers.

Oh dear. The media have picked up on Eboue's handball. Expect calls for a ban.

I can't see too much in that link to worry about. All it does is sum up Wenger defending Eboue.

The referee didnt see it as a big deal. Even Eboue was laughing about it. Ironic really because yesterday was a very good performance from Eboue

At last!! Eboue has something in common with a world class footballer. Maradona, it turns out. Never saw that coming I must admit.
