All in all, it was good to see Rosicky back. Didn't matter what he did on the pitch that fact that he was there, smiling and playing football again was all that matters.

Looking at Vermaelen i thought he was ok. Now his whole arsenal carrer can not be judged on one game against barnet. However their were good points and bad. I thought at times he got beaten in the air a bit too much at times, Though he showed some good leadership skills of thr back trying to organise at times and made some good tackles. He did at times get beaten with a bit of pace and trickery but this will be improved.

WHat dod you think of vermaelen.

I thought at times he looked solid at times, and at other times he looked good at times.
At times he made crucial last ditch clearances at times.
Bit too early to make any real judgement at times.
