I had Mueller and Freidrich in my team.
Spain will struggle to get past against Paraguay. It is definitely Spain against Netherlands an all european final.

Unbelievable!

Eight goals in the knockout stages, and rarely looked troubled.

Wow, just wow!

Wow. Very dissapointed in the argies, they were toothless and ran down dead ends all game.

At least we scored against them...

Paraguay wont be the first stubborn defense Spain have come up against, I predict a relatively easy win. Don't know how you can be so sure that Spain will get past Germany though... I'm only certain of two things, it'll be Spain in the semi with Germany, and whoever wins will play Holland.

I wont rule Germany out of anything, they have to be favourites after their last two results.

you cant say that for sure in this world cup, full of shocks, cheats and poor performances!

germany deserved the win and play as such a team!

how can Mueller have just have TWO caps and then start every single game, shows you need the right mix of youth and experience. take note Fabio

Permission to quote myself and look smug? Don't mind if I do.
emkay wrote:i remain distinctly unimpressed by argentina.

Mexico were undone by a hoorendous decision, and a lack of composure defensively. Without that, there's every chance that they could have had a good result here.

Against a team who are more ruthless in front of goal, and more solid defensively, I think Argentina will struggle. Germany next for them, hmmm...

When you score 4 goals on three separate occasions in a world cup, that's no fluke. Neither Argentina or England played anywhere near the level they can play at, but that shouldn't take away from some very impressive football from Germany. They're favourites to win now, which probably means they will go out in the semi-finals.
