From what I'd seen of him I never rated him, especially at the ridiculous price Fiorentina were quoting.
Yet other more cultured experts said he was/is the bollocks.
They must've meant he is bollocks..

Same here, its not just cause of this game.

Yep, back then when folks were having a coronary crying for Wenger to spend the cash. Even when Juve realised they'd spunked £20m on a fish folks were screaming for us to jump in there.

At least I can safely say 'Wenger knows' about Melo.

Anyone figured out how van bommell went the whole game without a booking?

Hilarious. And I dont think we should buy Melo.

I am over the moon for Holland but at the same time they were so f***ing wasteful in that second half that Brazil almost deserved to equalise.

Brazil showed all sorts of playacting, referee intimidation and card calling in that game and that is what I will remember them for most this world cup. I am glad they are out.

Since the ivory coast game all brazil have been doing has been picking fights with everyone. They didnt seem to have the mental ability to deal with decisions not going their way.

I was disappointed to see Gilberto calling for someone to get booked. He always carried himself with quiet dignity so it was a shame to see that.
