Makes it more likely that they will share the goals around. I can definitely see Torres and Villa both with 3 or 4, Silva, Iniesta and Cesc with 2 each and maybe Pedro or Xavi popping up with 1.

Whereas the TOP scorer may get 6 or 7

Your right. Torres is still my choice, but he isn't the sole front forward like at Pool so he might not be the teams dependant scoring solution. Whatever.

Torres is SS to Villa, he creates the opportunities for Villa to finish

More of a creater than a goalscorer!

Anyway, the bias towards RVP is overwhelming...

Maybe you haven't been keeping up on current events but he is the bang in form striker right now and if he stays fit i reckon he could eclipse anyone at the tournament, he is that good.

As for Messi, he has not even shown a glimpse of his club form for Argentina and it has fuckall to do with how Maradonakebab plays him.

Yeah my  was at Messi being more a creater than a goalscorer.

I could almost guarantee that Van Persie wont be top scorer

I was thinking Villa, and wondering if anyone else chose him as well??

Only one other person other than me, and 10 for RvP???

I don't think so

I don't think you can ignore how completely Maradonna has mishandled Messi. He is the best player on the planet (or at the very least in the top 3) there has to be a reason he is not getting it done for Argentina at the moment.
Dogbreath wasn't his usual self under Scolari (not the diving part, that was ok) then along comes Hiddink and he was back scoring for fun.
