Talk about the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa

anyone notice how good the atmosphere was when chile scored? it's because the chiliean fans singing for once overtook the sound of the vuvuzelas.
normally i take the usual furore after a goal for granted, but i've missed that sudden burst of support and excitement in the atmosphere when a goal goes in, due to the horns going nonstop the full 90 minutes no matter what is happening on the field the support sounds the same, so no sudden burst of excitement or anger depending on if there's a goal or bad foul etc. fair play to the chile fans it's how an atmosphere is supposed to be and actually is dictated by on field events.

I'm fuming. Was well looking forward to this game and as I expected Chile dominated the early stages, and aside from a suicidal goal against em, still thought they had a good chance of getting a point. But then Spain got the Chile player sent off and the game completely changed. Half of Chile's yellow cards weren't even fouls and a couple should have gone the other way, if this was a big team there would be an inquest, I don't blame the Chile players for losing their tempers

Seriously not happy about this, ref and the spanish players have ruined the game. You're 2-0 up, why you getting a fellow pro sent off, why dive around like pussy's to get half a team booked? Is this ref really spanish? f**k this WC if Chile end up going out cos of it

YES 2-1 !

2-1 game on. Spain really need to get another player sent off just to make sure.

Torres was a disgrace. I feel I have used that word far too much this world cup.
