Talk about the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa

Why didn't the Ivorians pressured Brazil at all? They just gave the Brazilians freedom to build their attacks and now we all can see the result. I was hoping that maybe Ivory Coast will surprise Brazil.

Kaka eraned probably the dumbest red card in this tournament.

Man what a game, and I dont mean that in a good way. When Brazil went 3-0 Ivory Coast decided they would just kick seven shades of shite out of them. Then we got to quite possibly the best performance of the ebtire world cup. Keito,Kaito whatever his name is should be given an Oscar for his play acting. I'm sorry if you don't like Kaka but5 that red card was f***ing disgraceful. If there was ever a reason to bring in punishments after a game that was it.
I am not living in the moment when I say that was one of the worst reds I have ever seen. Cheating f***ing c*** should get a 3 match ban.

absolute f***ing disgrace. the african footballers are certainly trying to make over from the italians as divers, yesterday was a disgrace. this is one of the most disgraceful things i've seen, the cheat deliberately ran towards kaka, he actually bee-lined towards him when the ball was nowhere near play, kaka wasn't even looking at kaito and kaito deliberately runs up behind him then falls over as if he's been punched.
it was totally and solely intentional to run up to kaka off the ball and pretend to get punched. absolute disgrace.
kaka didn't even rise his arm, not only were there no contact but the fact it was a premeditated and planned dive by kaito who deliberately ran to instigate contact is a disgrace and he should be given a ban for years. his sort aren't wanted in football.

of course though nothing will happen, FIFA haven't got the balls to deal with divers, i mean look at ronaldo.

i really don,t see why the 4th official can,t watch a video and pass information on to the ref like the 2 handballs for brazils 2nd goal or the simulation that was taking place all over the pitch.its the culture of trying to get fellow players in trouble that disgusts me.
i think generally the linesman and referees have done a good job and officiating has been further down the agenda than in most big tournaments in recent memory.
players need to take responsibility and clutching your face when it has been nowhere near it should bring the harshest punishment on the cheat.brazil could do well to remember what goes around comes around after doing a similar thing to a turkish player in 2002.
i want to win but not at all costs.the game is too great for that and when that mickey mouse station talksport say you would be happy if it was england the answer is no.
it needs to be stamped out the game for its good

This is a rout! 4-0, three goals in about 6 minutes.

WHAT?!
I saw the score in the 78th min and it was 4-0.
I thought it would finish 4-0 or maybe one goal more, but 7-0!

Watching the 1st half I saw absolutely no indication that avalanche was about to be unleashed. To be honest every time Portugal went forward they looked like they were going to score. One good thing is this thumping of biblical proportion probably puts the Ivory Coast out.

Not to mention that they could have grabbed an 8th in injury time, and they hit both the post and crossbar!

This tournament was begging for a game like that.

First game of the tournament that I missed!

Further proof that the football gods have a grudge against me.

Its possible but HIGHLY unlikely. The goal difference between them and Portugal is just too big.
