Starting from this season, we won't be hosting our traditional rating system, but would rather run a Man of the Match poll that would signify the MVP of a specific match. This is due to the fact that members seem to have lost interest in the ratings' based system. We will, of course, honor the MOTM, who'd later compete for the POTS based on aggregates—the 11 players with most MOTM ratings will compete for the GW POTS at the end of the season.

So, we commence this new modality—a poll recognizing the best player in individual games—today.

Who was your MOTM vs Newcastle?

Maitland-Niles for me. Our entire defensive unit looked solid but he came up with the goods to feed Aubameyang for the winner.

Guendouzi for me, tireless performance.

Niles
Chambers
Auba
Guendouzi
Willock

Picked guen because he literally didnt put a foot wrong and was calm under pressure of a packed midfield. Was always on the front too which is what we needed today.

Even though I feel Guendouzi was just as good, I went with Niles to keep the poll interesting.

Guendouzi. Niles was decent, but still looked vulnerable defensively.

Thought he handled the right side quite well imo.

Mugged off Maxin a few times and made loads of good contributions. He seems to do this for a few games then has a howler like the real own goal... still if he can cut it out, that's a great backup to have

No love for Aubameyang? He almost singlehandedly pegged Newcastle backline. I vote for him.
