ESR just

Ramsdale - 7 - big mistake in the first half but regathered his composure and was good for the rest of the game
Tierney - 6 - Didn't deal well with the press and gave the ball away too often but defended well enough.
Gabriel - 6 - Good in the second half, but caught under the ball too often in the first and struggled to stop Brighton holding the ball against him
White - 7.5 - Mistake early but excellent for the rest of the match - headed clearances, blocks, clearances in defence
Tomiyasu - 5.5 - really tough time in the first half. Will have been a good learning experience for him. Better in the second half
Lokonga - 6 - Really helped out the defence in the second half, but couldn't contribute going forward.
Partey - 3 - Horrible performance. Poor passing, weak in possession
ESR - 7.5 - MOTM - One of the few who looked comfortable in possession. Moved the ball well and created danger
Saka - 5.5 - Bright start, but faded and struggled to get hold of the ball.
Odegaard - 3 - so weak on the ball and awful control when passes came into him
Aubameyang - 2 - Awful all game. Lost possession too easily and put pressure on the team, didn't lead, didn't work hard enough.

Lacazette - 6.5 - helped when he came on. Did well linking play and creating a few openings.
AMN - 5 - nothing much to talk about
Pepe - 2 - absolutely dreadful from the moment he came on.

Arteta - 6 - unbeaten run continues. Picked the right team.

Ref - 6 - did quite well but should have been tougher on Brighton's obvious tactic to foul to break up our play.

I think that's way too generous for Tierney, Tomiyasu and Lokongo who were all genuinely horrific for large portions of the game. No way White should be any higher than a 6 either.
