Looked like City against a championship team in the early stages of the FA cup.

Leno was poor as always.
Should have saved the first and then the long shot beating him inside his near post with the time he had to react - poor not be able to cover that post.

Leno - 4 - hindered, didn't help. poor distribution, slow and at fault for 2 goals and maybe 3.

Kolasinac - 3 - offered almost nothing except space for him opponents
Holding - 1 - utterly terrible. a one-legged dwarf would have been favourite to beat him to headers in the penalty area.
Tierney - 3 - continued his poor form this year. really disappointing to see his level this season.
Chambers - 4 - Gave too much space and whilst he was 100% fouled for City's second goal he should have at least stood up.
Soares - 2 - Was just too easy to beat and offered little going the other way

ESR - 6 MOTM - tried his best and made a couple breaks but he was on his own
Odegaard - 2 - awful. Negative. Didn't even try to create. Mr BAckjwards Pass as he was for much of last year.
Saka - 5 - bright early on and should have had a clear penalty (obviously the ref wouldn't give it)
Xhaka - 4 too slow but outnumbered in midfield and lost. Did not deserve the red for what was a great tackle that cleanly won the ball.

Aubameyang - 1 - awful from start to finish vs 10 men or 11. Let the team down again with a lazy display and petulant behaviour instead of captain behaviour.

Subs:
Lacazette - 3 - couldn't hold the ball when he came on, which meant we had no chance of retaining any possession
AMN - 4 - we actually looked a little more solid when he came on
Elneny - 4 similar to AMN . Added something defensively but what could he really do with players like Holding in the middle of defence.

Arteta - 4 - correct formation, wrong personnel. Can;t blame him for the loss or the score given the extent of the cheating by the officials.

Ref and officials - 0 - cheated. openly. clearly.
