Nah Im the only one who uses my laptop mate.

@Zenith - Its a reconditioned laptop so I didnt get any software disks to re-boot it with. Im thinking I need to just fully wipe the thing and start from the beginning, so how could i do that without the windows disk? .......

You sound like your the man with the skills? :Peace:

No, if you decide to format your entire laptop, make sure you have your software on cd or usb (I prefer CD though).
Don't get me wrong, you can format system without using any cd-rom (just right click on the drive you want to format) but you won't be able to install your new windows.
Just make sure, after downloading your windows, make sure to burn it on cd using "BOOTABLE" as option. To do so, I always used CDBurnerXP - don't get confused with the name of the burning software, it supports vista/win7 aswell.
I can get you a few illegal but reliable windows links, just tell me which operation system you prefer and I will take a look on warez.

Im opreating off Windows Vista.
Cool I'll download that CDburderXP later on today mate :)

Apparantly these days it seems more common to install your windows by using a USB stick (i'm still loyal to XP, hence the burning on CD method instead of USB).

If you wish to install your windows from USB (I'm not familiar myself with doing it but should be fine).
Here's downloadlink + instructions: https://rapidshare.com/#!download|484tl ... BEFC22|0|0

In case you need to activate later, this could be helpful:

"The program can activate all Windows VISTA Versions
Extract RAR file and SELECT ANY ACTIVATOR AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS"

The instructions on that seem to be only for Windows 7?

Theres like a million doccuments but the only one with instructions is for that, will that make a difference?

On the topic it says:

Bootable USB Windows ( XP / Vista / Win 7) Maker 2011 | 10.76 MB
Introducing the tool for Installing Windows For Your Netbooks, Notebooks, or Desktop from USB Flash Drive.
- 3 Options and 3 Folders enclosed
- (1 for Win 7) (1 for Vista/ XP) (1 for XP only)
Full & Very detailed instructions included.

Too bad PirateBay and Btmon have closed their entire businesses, lots of feedbacks and comments about your torrent so you always had a good idea wether it's gonna work or not.

Hold on, i'm gonna try to find you a good torrent.
