Talk about mobile phones, DVDs, PCs or anything "techy"

Just got an Android about a week ago. Tapatalk is great for the forum, using that now.

I also really like the barcode scanning app.

Still working on other useful apps. Gas buddy has promise, but haven't used that one much yet.

Get the "Words with friends" game, its like scrabble, and you can play with your friends if they have it. I can give you my id and we can play against each other as well.

I've been using liveprofile. It's just like bbm if you know what that is...

It also works with all smartphones

It's a thing that charts your sleep patterns and wakes you up just as you start to come out of deep sleep so that you don't feel so shit when you wake up.

The theory is that one of the reasons we feel like utter shite in the mornings is because our alarms often catch us right in the deepest phase of sleep (REM etc.) and that's painful to get out of.
So you give the app a half hour bracket of time say, 8:30am to 9am and it wakes you up at whatever time your sleep is lightest within that half hour bracket.

Works for some people but not for others.
The other thing is, it's quite interesting to look at your sleep chart and see how well you slept.

You can read about it here: https://sites.google.com/site/sleepasandroid/

And this whole time I thought I only felt like shit because of the liquor the night before. :)

Seriously though, that sounds pretty cool.

Don't get too excited. Like I said it doesn't work for everyone! :hiding:

On my phone the test version is free for 2 weeks and after that it costs 80p or something.
Even if it doesn't work it's still cool to look at the chart of your sleep pattern.

The night after I play football my sleep pattern looks like this (complete coma):
