I heard that as well but it was probably in the last year I heard it. I'm sure I heard that the new ones have unlimited OOO warranty and they scraped the 3 year warranty on the old ones and made them life time as well. Something to do with people kicking off about Microsoft selling the console when they knew it wasn't 100% right.

can only find the 3year one from a yahoo q&a page dating april 2010, no mention of unlimited part from a website wanting it with a petition to sign upto.

Only got 3 games for it so far, Adventure which came with it, kinect Sports & Dance central, for the girlies amongst us the latter is much better than i expected, blows wii just dance out of the water.... :hail:

If anyone interested, or moreso those of you who are on my facebook list, i posted a hilarious video of my fella & a mate of ours boxing on kinect, worth a watch! ;) :rofll:

Yes it is definatley worth it!

Depends where you buy it as to what games you get but i think its kinect Adventures as standard across the board, thats what we got with ours, Game are doing a deal atm where you buy Kinect & you get a game for £19.99 shop around though there some good deals about.
Like with the wii you do need a decent sized area to play it.
Functions are really cool as it can be voice controlled, ie Xbox ON would turn it on & the sensor bar actually moves to the direction the voice is coming from, voice commands even open the disc tray!
Kinectimals is great for teh kids, we looking at getting it for kira, where you can interact with animals ect bit like the virtual pet games for the DSi ect.
Its also already compatible for 3D tv apparently, not got that gadget to tell u if it works.....Yet! ;) xx

Edit: Your looking at about £160 with 2 games. (fair price) ;)

Been thinking about buying this for months on release date but never did. Going to get it soon though. I go off interest of my XBOX every so often so this will keep it!

Trina, you on XBOX live?

No we're not. He's mentioned it before but doesn't use the xbox much. Saying that he just bought the new rugby league game for it and is addicted to it!

Is it any good? I read the reviews and they are crap. I can't find it for less than £400 as well so don't want to risk getting a crap game. Have you got FIFA 11?

Trina, if you do decide to get live dont bother with the 3 month trial for £15, you can get a 12 month subscription for £25 online, and alot of places offer a month free with the yrs subs too. Plus u can get free months here & there with certain top title games. ;) x

Got to renew Jakes soon as it goes.

Where do I get £25 online? I end up paying more by paying monthly via direct debit, even if I don't use it.
