Samsung S3, HTC One X and the new Google Nexus 4 are the best in the Anfroid market right now if you don't fancy Apple.

Do a small comparison and see which one is suitable for your needs and budget.

Just got the S3 yesterday

Was looking at 1 yesterday again. Rumours are that the S4 is coming out in march so I'm waiting (although it's just a rumour at this stage and could be out in June).

How are you finding it?

I know it isn't rated (and the mrs tells me not to touch anything with windows on it) but i really like the camera set up and want something that has a different feel to an iphone. The galaxy just feels like a copy of an iphone.

I'm going to keep looking into it though, just got a new laptop and that took me nearly a year to decide on!

I don't see how a phone with 4.8'' screen can feel like a copy of an iphone

Going from an iphone 4 to an S2, then S3 i noticed a huge difference between them, for starters Android is a whole difference kettle of fish, more freedom and many more 3rd party options.

Windows OS on phones is complete rubbish.

The mrs said that about windows too (she says its crap on computers as well).

My issue is that the layout, the camera, the apps all just felt like an iphone on the galaxy (i still have the 3GS) and I want something different.

The N95 is still my favourite of all my old phones. The camera and mp3 players felt natural to use. The camera on the 920 feels like you are holding a proper camera and there is a button rather than tapping the screen - that makes a big difference for me.

S3/iPhone would be my choice. I find the fluidity and maneuverability of apple products better than any other though.
