Galaxy s4 zoom looks amazing, but can i wait a month - camera on my phine has packed up and other things are starting to play up.

Going to buy Galaxy S4 this week. My last phone was (and still is) a Nokia N95! I considered Iphone 5 too. But Iphone is around £460 over here and S4 around £380. and I always prefer bigger screens

personally S4 (and even S3's) camera satisfies me. You can consider small but great point and shoot camera's if you care that much about picture quality and are not necessarily looking for an all in one gadget.

Is it better than the nokia lumia 920/925 and iphone cameras?

Also there's a lumia 1020 coming out soon which as a high mp camera too.

I haven't tried mentioned phones. But MP are not all you should care in a camera. Its like PC or laptop Video cards.

A Geforce 570 with 1.2 gb of memory is always stronger than a Geforce 630 2 gb!!

sensor's and lens' quality are more important.a 10 MP canon G12 is by far a better camera! But its only a 10MP cam.

I don't consider nokia any more. Its personal preference. (I feel they fall behind Apple, Samsung, Htc... Operating system is the main concern for nokia)

I had the experience with both of the remaining phones. I'd go with s4. Bigger screen. More vibrant colors (at least give you that feeling). Better hardware specs. Alot of small but interesting features here and there.(just like s3) Iphone has better build quality but thats my choice.

S4 zoom has the exact specs of s4mini and it should be pain in the arse to carry around.i prefer a full point and shoot camera.

You may want to consider a HTC ONE. Excellent screen especially when reading in strong sunlight, slightly narrower screen which I find easier to use one handed (i have a S3 and it annoys me how arkward it is to use with one hand) and the sound it brilliant. Only thing that lets it down is the camera that has quite a low resolution.
A read a review a few weeks back on the best current Android phones and they agreed the it was the best out there at the moment.

I'm tempted by the iphone but they are all too similar, I've had my old one for three or four years and fancy something a bit different.

The camera is most important as I've been taking lots of pics of my dog and plan to take quite a few at the emirates cup.

I had a nokia n95 and it is the best camera phone i've ever had. I went on a stadium tour back then and the n95 pics came out better than the pics on my film SLR!!!!

I want something comparable to that.

Looks like iphone it is then. I'm still going to wait for the s4 zoom and lumia 1020 before deciding, so long as i have the phone sorted before the summer holidays, cos that is when most of my photo taking will happen.

I'd suggest you take a look at the HTC One as well. It's supposed to be a really great phone.
