I wonder if he's still searching for some game time (either here or at other clubs)

In either case, Almunia definately leaves me questioning how he ever became a goalkeeper in the 1st place, let alone a keeper for the Arsenal.

Looks like it's stoke. He wouldn't confirm it wasn't them. He also emphasised the need to be playing regularly!

I read an interview with him this morning from Denmark and it said that when he was asked whether it was Stoke he was going to he just laughed.
I took that to mean "You're f***ing joking aren't you?"

Hopefully I took it the right way....

8.54: Spotted! Thomas Bendtner - Nicklas' father - has been spotted entering Stoke City's training ground ahead of talks over a move for the Arsenal striker's switch to the Britannia.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... -live.html

If he leaves and we don' sign another striker , we will be left with just Park and the woeful Chamakh.

So sell a played for 10 million quid and sign a replacement for 3 million quid ... hurray we saved 7 million . If we let Bendy go without signing another striker , i will certify Wenger has officially lost his bearings

---------------------------------------------------Bendtner in Stoke talks----------------------

Sky Sports sources understand Stoke are in talks with Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner about a move to the Britannia Stadium.

The 23-year-old has been linked with an exit from the Emirates Stadium throughout the summer and it seems he could join Stoke after being spotted at the club's training ground.

The Denmark international has made no secret of his desire to leave Arsenal after becoming frustrated with a lack of regular opportunities last term.

Arsene Wenger left Bendtner out of Arsenal's squad for their pre-season tour of Asia and confirmed he would be allowed to depart after seven years at the club.

Bendtner has made only one appearance this season and the signing of Park Chu-young has pushed him further down the pecking order.

Stoke boss Tony Pulis has been actively looking to bolster his attacking options and it appears he has turned his attentions to Bendtner after being frustrated in his attempts to land Peter Crouch from Tottenham.

The Potters are also in talks with Birmingham striker Cameron Jerome and it looks like Bendtner could join him at the Britannia if he can agree terms and pass a medical.
