Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has emerged as a top target for three leading German clubs, after failing to find consistent form and establish himself in manager Arsene Wenger’s starling XI – according to a report in The Daily Mail.
Bendtner could be heading for a summer exit from the Emirates unless he can quickly force his way into Wenger's plans, with Bayern Munich, Schalke and Borussia Dortmund all monitoring the Dane’s situation in North London.
The 23-year-old has frequently expressed his desire to become a regular in the Arsenal first-team, although when he has been given the opportunity to shine his response has been somewhat inconsistent, with indifferent form mixed in with some significant contributions. The return of Robin van Persie from injury has restricted his chances, with Marouane Chamakh also competing for a striking role.
Bendtner has been valued at €11.5 million, and it is believed that Wenger would find it hard to turn down an offer that matched that figure.
€11.5 million for someone who isnt worth anywhere near that? Id take it.
