Bendtner to go under the knife

Bendtner to go under the knife

Postby dynamicgooner » Mon Nov 09, 2009 11:42 pm

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has revealed that he expects to have surgery this week.

Bendtner has been hampered by a groin problem in recent weeks.

The Danish international is now set to go under the knife on Tueseday, with the hope it will cure his injury.

"I will have an examination on Tuesday and then go on to have surgery on Wednesday," Bendtner told Ekstrabladet.

Bendtner does not know how long the surgery will keep him sidelined for.

Ouch. :(

Id imagine thats at least a month, Theo is due back after the break isnt he? plus we got Vela due to return too, even though he isnt 1st choice yet, we should have plenty of cover.

It did look quite bad at the time, not a major suprise

Unlucky Bendy. Denmark are already through to the WC I think so he doesn't have to worry about that

rosicky should be back too.
we're basically (so long as no injuries in the international break) at full strength for the first time i can think of in ages.
clichy the only first XI starter out injured but that's the one position where the replacement is a good argument for being a starter anyway.

-----------almunia
sagna vermaelen gallas gibbs
------------song
arshavin fabregas rosicky nasri
---------van persie

should all be available and ready for the chavs.
of course though, saying no injury in the int.break is probably asking for too much.

walcott is back soon.

we only play one man up front, 3 players to fill one position (rvp, eduardo, vela) is more than enough cover.

ah yes, theo will be back soon. but against wolves we played with eddie and rvp....normaly we play with 1 striker but this time we played with 2. and we had no other striker on the bench.

I hope he is back for the Chavs because they are a physically strong team so we need some strength and height against them.

Unless you name is Aliadiere, when he was an Arsenal player it kept him out for yonks!
Hope Bendtner is back sooner rether than later & it all goes well.
