I'm just happy we've got a glut of good goalies to choose from. Just think about it: Fergie is reputed be to spending nearly £20m for a kid from Spain and somehow Wenger's got three for next to nothing. Okay, they're not the finished article but AW's done well on the goalkeeper front.

I keep forgetting about Mannone. Good to see he had a good loan.

I live in Hull, two of my mates are season ticket holders and they were raving about him, just a shame he got injured really!

I followed him very closely pre-injury and he was quality, they didn't lose a game with him in goal and he pretty much single handedly got them out of the relegation zone and into mid table.

Quality GK, definitely the best at the club IMO.

It's crazy isn't it? This whole time he's stuck with Almunia, and stuck with the Fabianski that wouldn't have looked out of place playing for a Sunday league team! Suddenly, like you said, we have three high quality keepers to choose from!

The GK and CB spots have always been considered as Wenger's weak areas... maybe he's not so clueless with keepers after all.

... still needs to convince us with the CB's though!

I think I've only seen him play once so I can't really rate him, but I hear that he's better than both Szcz and Fabianski. Glad to hear that we'll have three keepers fighting for the number one spot next season

Goalkeeper Vito Mannone has joined Hull City on loan until the end of the season.

The 23 year-old Italian also enjoyed a loan spell at the KC Stadium last term, helping the Championship side to accrue 21 points in his ten appearances.

He’ll return to East Yorkshire hoping to continue that good form and provide a boost to the Tigers in their bid for promotion.

Mannone has featured once for the Arsenal first-team this season in the Champions League Group Stage match away to Olympiacos, and ten times in total since joining the Club from Atalanta at the age of 17.

As well as being a regular in the Arsenal Reserves since his arrival, Vito had a loan stint with Barnsley in 2006.

Mannone, who signed a new long-term contract in January 2010, has represented Italy at Under-21 level.

Everyone at Arsenal wishes Vito well for his time with Nick Barmby’s side.
