he's right! wenger is doing a mistake by keeping almunia as number 1. Just imagine how good mannone would be if he had played as many games as flappy!?!

He should definitely be loaned out if he's not even making the bench, and I can't blame him for having a little moan either... It worked for Szczesny!!! Well, it got him on the bench!

If Almunia wasn't in the mix, both our young goalies would have a realistic chance of fighting for the first team spot (it won't be Wenger's Flappy that leaves). Flappy has his chance to impress, but if he messes up, it'll just be Almunia back between the sticks and no love for Mannone or Szczesny.

I can't blame him at all and at least he didn't do a Schezny and say he would leave for good.

He doesn't even say he wants to leave, only that he wants to go out on loan which is perfectly reasonable under the circumstances.
I hope he gets some CC games or something.

I heard Boro were after him on loan a while ago, after we lost Jones, i'd like that to happen.

The title of this article is mis-leading, becuase as Inchy said.. he never once said he wants to leave, simply that if he's not getting first team games then he wants to go out on loan.

An option that I'd be more than happy for him to go on, short term with the option of a re-call whenever needed.

It's all honesty, but still a little disruptive though. No player should use the media to get their point across in my opinion.

He answered a question to an Italian Newspaper, what was he supposed to say? Yes i am perfectly happy being 4th choice to 2 clowns and someone who has never even played a top flight game?

Given how impressive Mannone was last season in tough games, i wouldn't have begrudged him going on a full blown rant and tirade against the club and AW.

He does more for the club in his spare time than virtually any other player, is always involved in Charity work and ATVO stuff not to mention he is a f***ing top quality young keeper yet he gets treated like a piece of shit.

AW at times shows no respect for some of our players and it makes me sick, he treated Senderos in much the same way before he left, yet he lets players like Diaby (Who i think has been solid btw) get away with murder numerous times while we have players like Lansbury and JET who have been with the club since before their mothers concieved them, grew up only knowing how to play the Arsenal way, sitting on the bench or rotting in the reserves when this is the time they should be given the chance to shine.
