Arshavin doesnt deserve all this slating at this point. He's is way better then he was last season. And he works hard.

Ok Arshavin is 2% better this season but that's it.
He really hasn't changed that much. And if you're going to start a player ahead of him it should be the Ox not Ryo.
Ryo isn't ready yet and so far he's proven nothing which is why he's playing with the reserves.

still dont understand how he is so shit compared to how he used to be just 1 and a half year ago
he still was lazy sometimes but i felt confident with him on the ball and always expected him to give a great pass to someone inside the box or shoot at goal but now im not even confident if it's 1on1 with the keeper

Postives for Arshavin this season

looks a lot sharper , fitter and hungrier .

He is putting in a proper shift in games this season .

Negatives

Looks like he will never regain that quick burst of acceleration he had a couple of seasons ago.

But he has definitely shown signs of improvement . I for one believe he has class and since he is
working a lot harder this season he will come good . He has the technique , can dribble past players
and can take a shot on goal as well . So in a squad which lacks creativity in the final third , Arshavin
for sure has a place as long as he continues to work on his fitness and form .

Lets face it Arsh is good enough to hang on to and there lay our problem any other top four club would have shot of him
