He is no more lazy than Pires was and arshavin is capable of doing magic out of the blue. This will be Arshavin's 2nd season so he will (hopefully) be more productive and he is also one of our senior and experienced players, we need to hold onto those.

Pires had the likes of Vieira to tell him to snap out of it though. We don't have any screamers on the park who will lay into a player who just seems to be going through the motions without trying.

I agree it would be ridiculous to sell him though.

Those goals were crucial and his contributions were really important, no doubt about that. But RVP was more important to us than Bendy though, in every sense.
Come on, the # of goals we were scoring before he was injured was outrageous, it just dried up when he was not in the team.

Many times this season people would slag off Arshavin during a match then he'd go and set up 2 goals and score one.

He didn't have a great season by any stretch but he's a sick player and I'd love to keep him for another season or 2. He'll have a rest this summer and hopefully have a good pre-season and I think we'll see the best of him again.
