no its a fact. 09/10 he scored a great goal at old trafford and a burst of pace and set up for rvp that should have seen us home and hosed
08/09.
v hull in the fa cup in a tight game he came inside from the wing time after time to run the show and create untold chances including rvps equaliser[great drive into the box from nik as well].
anfield away 4 goals and still only a draw, would we have been staring down the barrel of a heavy defeat without him? who knows,we did,nt need to ,we have him and it was a magnificent display.
09/10
alkmaar[a] set rvp away with a fine pass which he squared for cesc to score.the times called our goal sheer poetry, it got a bit forgotten in the doom and gloom of getting pegged back.
add to this 3 assists in the home game with alkmaar.
a goal and an assist for ramsey home to stoke.
and another cracker at anfield that may have seen us take only 1 point instead of 3

Arshavin is a world class player. I dont think we have seen the best of him at all.

For us to see the best of him he needs to play alongside world class players.

18 goals and 18 assists in his 1st 12 playing months at the club.
not bad for a supposedly lazy fat basterd
really not a bad chap to have around the squad.
why on earth would we look to sell him?

Form is temporary, class is permanent. All that needs to be said about this issue, hell no we don't sell him.

Couldn't agree more. We all know how skillful/talented he is, but one moment of brilliance per game isn't always enough to overshadow what appears to be is "meh" attitude.
Now I am not saying he has a "meh" attitude, but thats what it often seems like.

He goes missing so much we are going to have to put a bell around his neck.

He has said the league has been hard to adjust too. Would think a season under his belt he returns adjusted and his anfield self.

I watched the match and I thought we had the game in the bag but then Liverpool came back :(

Arshavin was world class that day, I haven't seen a match where he was better than that
