funny how some of you react.
he's one of our players with cesc and rosicky who shot on goal and don't pass the ball all the time (I just say Hleb). I hate it when we play like we want to walk with the ball in goal. I love arshavin's style of play and I don't see why he should change it.
I like his style of play as well. I'm not really "reacting" either. Yes, he tells the truth, sometimes he'd be better not telling it to the world though. I believe he should have passed more on Sunday instead of trying to take on the whole Utd defence by himself, that's all. I was just saying if he would have passed on Sunday as quickly as telling us this, it would certainly have done us more good.
agree with you that against ManU he should have passed the ball one or two times. but overall I prefer arshavin to shot than to pass because he has a awesome shot +
he's not the best passer
Oh dear.
Arshavin is not renowned for his goalscoring ability, its his assists and general playmaking coupled with his advanced position up field that he is known for.
He has never been a prolific goalscorer.
He is currently playing through the pain because we need him so much, yes, he should have passed, but playing up front, by yourself, its your job to finish moves off, not pass to other people in the hope they will do it for you, this was no doubt part of AW's game plan, give the ball to Arshavin, let him score.
This is what happens when your best striker leaves, is not replaced, then your next best striker gets a season ending injury, then your be2nd best striker is out for 4 months (Bendtner) and your 3rd choice striker turns shit.
