This.

I'm afraid it's going to become clear it's not possible to be self-sustainable during a global pandemic and expect to improve. Every year spent out of the CL the situation looks grimmer and grimmer. Kroenke's are gonna have to start burning money if they want to see this club bounce back.

Edit: Also, didn't Liverpool get absolutely torched by fans/media for only wanting to furlough staff? Arsenal straight up want to fire them... For one it's despicable but it's also very, very dumb and could backfire tremendously...

I'm very disappointed with the club for doing this.

Even if the average wage is £50k, the annual cost is £2,750,000. That's peanuts in the scheme of things.

They won't get a penny of my money from now on.

That's exactly how hardcore capitalism flourishes. People down the food chain will spend their days bickering against each other, thereby, enabling and protecting billionaires.

My entire floor in the office just got made redunant last week.

Bring on the Redudancy payout £££ ....... buy my half of the Freehold on the house with it or at the least extend my Leasehold 99 years as I'm on 83 years left but i don't think price is that much different so going to go for the Freehold.

55 people - probably cost less in wages than the 12% Ozil refused to give up - anyone earning >50k a week should think about the 55 people about to lose their jobs ... just how much do you need?

Stan Kronke is worth $8.3 Billion.

I am sure he can foot the bill for 55 of his Arsenal employees if he wanted to.

Take a look at what his new stadium cost, for the super wealthy they have no concept of sharing wealth.

People underestimate the wealthy, of course he could afford it ............. but why should he?

He didn't get rich by giving a sh*t.

Trust me, that's how these people think, he thinks everyones a peasant.

I saw this yacht the other day and it was 5-6 stories high, it looked like a fkin hotel on the sea and I had to ask myself ............ why the fk would anyone actually buy that?

Even if you could afford it, its like owning 20 Ferrari's when you don't need anymore than 1 or 2 at the most, the yacht was owned by some russian billionaire apparently but it was like a fkin Ferry cruise liner.

He could do, but that notion of charity doesn't fit with yankee business ethics.

A job is where there is a role for someone to perform and they get paid for it.

If there is no role for that person to perform then their role is redundant. Nobody should expect to keep their job if there is no job to perform.

I just wish the club hadn't linked the redundancies with the transfer budget. Doing that was disastrous. Whoever came up with that idea is an idiot

Celtic and Aberdeen have had their next two Scottish Premiership matches postponed after their players broke lockdown rules.

Scotland's first minister Nicola Sturgeon demanded the cancellation after Celtic defender Boli Bolingoli flew to Spain, failed to quarantine, then played in a match.

Ms Sturgeon said this was a "flagrant breach" of the guidelines,

What?

Politicians are now dictating about individual matches?

Putin claims Russia has developed a vaccine despite no phase 3 trial and scientists voicing concerns over its safety.

Yeah...I'm gonna have to pass on this one.

CDC came out with new facts, Non underlying conditions comprised only 6% Covid deaths in the US, so out of 180k deaths that is only 10k deaths,
He/His/Non-Menstruater/Postmenopausal/non-vaginal male. Yup all man!
