My issue is that its not going to end, they will milk this for decades.

The cash wheel is spinning as is the chance to erode our civil rights, they are not going to give us all our lives back anytime soon if ever.

Lets see where we are in 12 months from now so start of next season and we'll see who's right.

Those saying dumb sht like "The quicker we all have the vaccine the quicker we get back to normal" are worryingly ignorant, 20 variants later.

We'll see who is right? Do you assume I think you're wrong then? This is literally capitalism at work, it's the very definition of capitalism. I have seen you defend it from socialist stand points, and now it doesn't suit, you're jumping left?

Yes it stinks. Yes there is undoubtedly corruption. Is this a reason for you not to have the vaccine? Absolutely not. If a billionaire adds a few sheckels to his already vast amount of wealth, and you get to live longer, and to live that life without serious complications, it's worth it. Denying him a few sheckels changes nothing.

Yeah from the same people who created the virus which killed millions in the first place, absolute fkin sheep.

Where's your proof its saved millions of lives anyway, Covid is still here, if the death rate is slowing, how do you know that's not because of a years worth of herd immunity and its summer? want to bet the deaths are going to rise again come winter?

Man's grateful for a man made "cure" when the disease was man made, talk about gullible.

I couldn't care less where it came from or how much money the drug companies are making. All I care about is that there's a vaccine and it's saving lives.

If you want to make your own personal protest by not getting the vaccine you go ahead.

Ok so let me ask you this.

What are you going to think / say if in 3 years from now, we are exactly in the same place as now with no end in sight because of variants, can't go or enter anywhere without a Covid passport, holidays cost twice as much because countries will charge you hundreds more on top for tests etc.

Covid has become a business, and its been one since March 2020 before hardly anyone outside of China had died, over night the markets got dumped and here we are.

Its the old mafia tactic ........... I cut your hand then sell you a plaster.

............ as I've pointed out, I'm not having the vaccine because of two main reasons.

A) I don't trust that they've managed to knock up a safe vaccine within 12 months which has been thoroughly tested and proven to work sufficiently, you guys are all in the Beta stage and I don't like to gamble with my health, I don't want blood clots thanks.

B) Why should I have it ......... when in 3 months from now they'll be telling us we need to have another one because a Brazil variant is around, I mean is Covid Willy Fog or something?

So to summerize, if we ever get to a stage where we have a proper, safe vaccine which actually works and its "Have one and its over" if that time ever comes, maybe I'll consider it, but we are far....far.....far away from this gravy train ending, so I'm out.

You know literally no vaccine works this way right? None. Vaccines work by training the immune system to fight off a disease more effectively, from cow pox helping fight off small pox, to mRNA training your immune system to fight off covid. People still got small pox, it was just rendered so redundant by the vaccine, it eventually died out by not being able to spread.

A corona virus is very different to a small pox virus. They are so effective because of how they mutate and adapt. And yes, the longer this shit stays around, the more chance there is of it mutating. If one strain mutates to the point it renders the existing vaccines completely useless (e.g the training they give the immune system at detecting the proteins in strains of covid) we'll be back at square one, with the virus threatening to bring down systems essential to carry on life as we know it.

Do you ever take Aspirin? Did you know bleeding is one of the common side effects?

Ibuprofen is even worse. It can sometimes cause decreased kidney function, ulcers, strokes or even liver failure.

What is the point of pointing incredibly rare side effects of the vaccine? It is clear that these are rare enough that they aren't relevant, otherwise these vaccines wouldn't be cleared for use in most countries in the world.

If you take AstraZeneca which is the vaccine most known for causing blood clots, your chances of developing them is about 1 in 200,000.

Do you know what has a much higher risk of blood clots? COVID 19. And eventually you're gonna contract it, and you're going to be at a higher risk of every single side effect you think the vaccines cause.

My favourite is I'm not taking the vaccine cos I don't know what's in it.

Do people know what's in any medicine they take?

I trust the experts. Not some Facebook conspiracy theorists looking for a few likes.

I trust the experts after years of studies and results.

A new type of vaccine rushed through in less than a year? No thanks, lets wait and see for at least a years worth of studies post vaccination.

And that's fine. Just don't be moaning about not being able to go anywhere or do anything cos you aren't vaccinated. Not saying you are but people clearly are.

Vaccine hesitancy has always been a thing. It doesn't matter what you say, the proof you give or the amount of mis-information you dispel, you will not change their mind. There is plenty of documentation out there that explains why.

Edward Jenner first created the vaccine for small pox in 1796, it was only officially eradicated in 1977. During that time, it killed literally millions of people. A lot of those had no need to die, if they hadn't resisted inoculation. There are reports from the USA where people broke into tenements occupied by adults with small pox, where they forcibly took the children from their parents and gave them vaccinations, because their parents would not allow them to have it.

This is a graphic image of a child with small pox, open at your own discretion:

Imagine seeing people with those kinds of symptoms, and having them yourself, and still not allowing your child to have a vaccination. That is exactly the kind of cognitive dissonance you'll find in people with vaccine hesitancy today. They'll dance around everything you put forward to them, so there is literally no point.

Well I'm not at the moment but why should I be stopped from going to Arsenal matches for example if I'm not vaccinated? What happened to personal choice? So if I want to enjoy anything I have to take a vaccine without long term proven results? Great.
