Away Travel Survey

Postby andreafc » Mon Oct 01, 2018 4:07 pm

A group of fans are looking into starting a tour operator for Premier League away supporters and are conducting some market research. If you could take 3 minutes to fill this survey it would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I don't do internet surveys. They piss me off and usually ask the wrong questions. But I'll give you some feedback

As someone who travels away regularly I think it's a good idea. The key is cost of course. If you want one off tourist punters then charge what you like. If you want repeat business from someone like me who goes to up to 12 aways a year, you've got to make it affordable

Focus on train travel, there are already plenty of football coaches, another one offers nothing.

Three star hotels with a good rating is what I want, if I'm staying overnight (but I usually return the same day)

Don't overcharge for the match tickets, you'll only alienate people.

Offer bundles. Buy tickets for two mediocre matches and you're guaranteed a ticket for XYZ big match

Finally, I take some convincing that a company is legit and isn't going to rip me off. Especially regards tickets. That's a problem you'll need to overcome
Corinthians 15:57; But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus
