In Memoriam

Postby Phil71 » Thu Sep 27, 2018 3:08 pm

Starting a thread to note the deaths of this or that celebrity or person of note.

First off we’ve got John Cunliffe. Author of children’s stories and TV shows such as Postman Pat, who has died, aged 85.

I read those books and watched those programs with my kids.

His funeral would have made a cracking episode

Zippy and Bungle digging the grave

George dealing with flowers and refreshments

A bit silly to say that tbh. It'd be much preferable to have him in the gutter like Mortimer and Randolph so the banter can live on.

That or China where no one cares how terrible his football is and he can massage his ego while the rest of the world looks down at his peasantry
