Just listening to his colab with Placebo, Without You Im Nothing

One of Placebo's standout moments.

Did he produce the album?

I had no idea he was involved.

Surely you've heard it before and didn't notice it was Bowie? or not fond of Placebo?

Bowie didn't produce the album, but he's been massively Influential on Placebo's success as a band. Practically kickstarted the band's careers as musicians by letting them be his openers for the Outside Tour in 1996.

I saw the outside tour at wembley arena with morrisey in support but it didn't really work for him
Bowie fans were indifferent to morrisey and apart from a cluster of his fans at the front most people spent his set arriving
He was poor in support of madness 4 years before this at finsbury park and was more or less bottled off and never returned for the 2 nd night( ian dury was magnificent and captured the mood of the day)
Placebo supported in italy switzeland and france at the end of the tour so I never got to see them

^^ I'm quite sure that everybody is indifferent to Morrisey, including Morrisey's mother.

It's a shame mate because I loved the smiths
I was lucky enough to see them at the Brixton academy in 85 on the meat is murder tour and they were scintillating
They opened with William it was really nothing after walking on to Prokofiev Romeo and juliet and it was stunning
That mix of morriseys fey delivery and Johnny marrs guitar licks were reminiscent of Bowie and ronson in there pomp
Funny enough mick ronson produced a morrisey solo album called your arsenal( we always get in somewhere) and it's very good

Morrisey the songwriter I admire, but as a performer he annoys me and I think the Smiths with a frontman who could actually sing would have been better

As for his off stage behaviour, insisting that venues he plays at don't sell meat for 24 hours before his performance, well bollocks to him frankly.
