Can we have station to station from the reality tour wantagh New York as today's track please
Notable for a tantalising few hummed bars of win at the end as requested by an audience member
Earl slick clamed to have played a part in writing the song
He liked it enough to have played it last year while touring station to station
Great to hear him playing on the song
And a glimpse of what might have been had he gone on the 76 tour
I think he would have had to go some to improve on what Stacey heyden did with it along with what was his tightest band.
The reality shows were looser and more informal and have a charm for that fact
Shame it turned out so chaotic
2 weeks after this he was struck by a lollipop in the eye and a week after suffered a blocked artery cancelling the last 15 shows and ending him as a touring entity

Can we have aladdin sane from the 1996 lorely festival as today's track please
A great piece of avant garde performed as a duet with Gail Ann Dorsey and of coarse the peerless Mike Garson tinkling wildly

Can we have diamond dogs from the show in Boston 1974 as today's track please
Notable for the fact that he goes into a bit of only rocknroll towards the end
It's an audience recording so the quality is poor
He did this a few times in what became the Philly dogs tour
It's rumoured that there is a bootleg on the way from the philedelphia show that contains a more extensive version of its only rocknroll.
Footage of 74 is pretty scarce which adds to the fascination

From where I'm based there didn't appear to be a seperate recording available, but I did find lengthy audience recordings of two seperate Diamond Dogs tour concerts at the Boston Music Hall - one from July 16, 1974 and the other from November 15, 1974. I got rid of a couple hick-ups that occur in the original recordings and connected the audio pieces. The pictures should both be from their respective concerts - that is if g3tty images got their picture dates right.
